Vik Vijh

Mr Vik Vijh is an English trained Plastic Surgeon having trained in many of the Plastic Surgery Units in and around London and was the first Fellow to undertake accredited cosmetic surgery training at The Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is recognised as one of the leaders of the younger breed of NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeons and has developed his interest in Cosmetic Surgery through extensive further study and research. During his formal training he undertook a six month hands on cosmetic fellowship. This taught him the nuances that are so valuable to any successful cosmetic surgeon, as well as all the variations in procedure required. It has given him an excellent knowledge of all cosmetic surgical procedures that includes breast augmentation, facelift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, endobrow, breast reduction, mastopexy, abdominoplasty and liposuction.

Mr Vijh also has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of cosmetic practice, from skin care to fillers, Botox, peels and lasers. In addition, he took a further six months to visit the best breast units around the world in order to benefit from their techniques and to teach his to them.

Mr Vijh is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with the NHS in Birmingham and in Hereford and trains surgeons in the NHS who wish to specialise in Plastic Surgery. In the private sector he teaches the techniques of Cosmetic Surgery to qualified Plastic Surgeons who wish to emulate his success in this sphere.

He lectures regularly at the Royal College of Surgeons of England on the subject of facial anatomy and its relationship to both Plastic and Cosmetic surgery.
